A leading heritage organization in the United Kingdom is seeking a passionate Cook to join their food and beverage team. This role focuses on preparing and presenting delicious dishes made from fresh ingredients. Candidates should have a love for food, positive demeanor, and understanding of health safety compliance. Flexible working hours and a fixed-term contract until 31 May 2026 are offered. Various benefits such as discounts and a substantial pension scheme are included.
In line with our redeployment policy, we’ll prioritise applications from employees who are under formal notice of redundancy.
Do you have a passion for food? The National Trust is renowned for its food and hospitality. We run 185 cafes all over England, Wales and Northern Ireland, and we'd love you to be a part of it.
We’re looking for a Cook to join us. Because we are in a rural area, please think about how you’d be able to get here for work, before applying for the job.
We want to help you look after the things that matter to you, such as saving for your future, getting a discount on your weekly shop, or encouraging you to find a work‑life balance. Please read our package, below, to see what benefits we offer you.
This is a zero‑hour contract, meaning we can’t guarantee a set number of hours each week. While we aim to provide a consistent work pattern, flexibility is needed as schedules may change based on business needs. We’ll try to give as much notice as possible. The role includes weekends and Bank Holidays but does not require evening or split shifts.
Varied hours, up to full time depending on business need, between the days of Tuesday and Sunday.
£12.75 an hour
Fixed Term Contract until 31 May 2026
Week commencing Monday 8th December
asap
For this role, you’ll need to complete our online assessment instead of using a C.V. or online application form. This will help us understand more about your strengths and give you more information on the role.
Mae gennym ni 185 o gaffis dros Gymru, Lloegr a Gogledd Iwerddon a hoffem i chi ymuno â ni.
Rydym yn chwilio am Gogydd i ymuno â ni. Oherwydd ein bod ni mewn ardal wledig, gofynnwn yn garedig i chi feddwl sut fyddech chi’n ein cyrraedd ni ar gyfer gwaith, cyn i chi wneud cais am y swydd.
Rydym am eich helpu chi i warchod y pethau sy’n bwysig i chi, fel cynilo ar gyfer eich dyfodol, gostyngiad ar eich siopa bwyd wythnosol, neu eich annog chi i gael cydbwysedd rhwng gwaith a bywyd. Darllenwch ein pecyn isod i weld pa fuddion yr ydym ni’n eu cynnig i chi.
Mae hwn yn gontract dim oriau, sy’n golygu na allwn ni warantu nifer penodedig o oriau bob wythnos. Er ein bod yn ceisio darparu patrwm gwaith cyson, mae angen hyblygrwydd gan y gall amserlenni newid yn seiliedig ar anghenion busnes. Byddwn yn ceisio rhoi cymaint o rybudd â phosib. Mae’r rôl yn cynnwys penwythnosau a Gwyliau Banc, ond nid yw’n gofyn am sifft gyda’r nos na sifft wedi’i rhannu.
Cyflog: £12.75 y awr
Cytundeb Cyfnod Penodol 31 Mai 2026
Wythnos yn dechrau Dydd Llun 8 Rhagfyr
Bydd angen ichi gwblhau ein hasesiad ar-lein yn hytrach na defnyddio C.V. neu ffurflen gais ar-lein. Bydd hyn o gymorth i ni ddeall mwy am eich cryfderau ac i chi gael mewnwelediad i’r swydd.
