Job description

One of the region's fastest-growing law firms continues to expand its presence across Essex and with a team of legal professionals working from multiple offices, the firm is known for its proactive approach supporting individuals with legal advice.

We are seeking an experienced Residential Lawyer to join a busy conveyancing team on a maternity-cover basis. This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of an established and varied caseload within a busy, well-respected office, with the benefit of experienced support to ensure seamless workflow and excellent client care. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain and develop strong relationships within the local community, offering a personable and reliable service.

What makes this position different to a usual maternity cover is that you will have the option to join on a permanent basis at the end of this cover and be retained within the conveyancing team, therefore this would suit someone already in a permanent position seeking a new and exciting opportunity.

Applicants should bring 3+ years' PQE in residential conveyancing along with a proven ability to manage files independently and deliver high-quality work under minimal supervision. Those who excel in client engagement, understand the commercial landscape and enjoy contributing to business development will be particularly well suited to this role.
