Role

As a Conveyancing Legal Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting fee earners across both residential and commercial conveyancing matters. You will manage casework, collaborate with colleagues, and assist with business development initiatives when needed. This role requires a professional, efficient approach, ensuring deadlines are met while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality.

  • Conducting legal research and preparing documentation.
  • Liaising with clients, providing guidance, and addressing enquiries.
  • Collaborating with estate agents and maintaining accurate payment and contract records.
  • Managing Land Registry documents and title deeds.
  • Performing pre-contract checks to identify potential property issues.
  • Facilitating the transfer of mortgage deeds.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A minimum of two years’ experience in a conveyancing or similar legal support role.
  • Strong report-writing skills and a keen interest in property law.
