A leading UK manufacturing business in North London is seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to enhance automation and electrical systems in a fast-paced environment. This role requires hands-on experience with PLC systems, fault-finding, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have relevant engineering qualifications and proven experience in a manufacturing setting. This is a permanent position offering up to £70K per annum, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Proven experience working as a Controls Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
• Good understanding of automation, electrical systems, and industrial controls.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide controls and automation engineering support across the site.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and optimise PLC and control systems.
• Support preventative and corrective maintenance activities.
• Improve equipment reliability and machine performance.
