Control Systems Engineer

Your new role
As a Control Systems Engineer, you will play a key role in developing and optimising control systems across critical manufacturing processes, including heat treatment, CNC machining, and final assembly. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance, drive automation, and support the integration of new technologies. This hands-on role involves designing control systems, troubleshooting automation issues, and contributing to strategic projects such as SCADA deployment and process re-engineering.
What you'll need to succeed

  • Proficiency in Siemens TIA Portal PLC programming.
  • Strong understanding of machine control systems, FMEA, and OEE improvement.
  • Experience with project management, technical documentation, and compliance standards (UL, IEC, ISO).
  • Desirable: Knowledge of LabVIEW, Mitsubishi PLCs, and control systems for vacuum, temperature, and flow.
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset with a logical approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
