Job summary

A pioneering engineering company in Tewkesbury is seeking a Wires Person who will be responsible for hands-on wiring of control panels and assembling wiring harnesses. The ideal candidate will have experience in electronic equipment assembly, strong attention to detail, and knowledge of wiring standards. Qualifications

  • Previous experience building wiring harnesses and looms.
  • Experience in assembling and wiring electronic equipment and control panels.
  • Ability to interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and wiring schedules accurately.
  • Broad knowledge of connector and cable types and electrical components.
  • Understanding of wiring standards such as IPC/WHMA-A-620.

Responsibilities

  • Wiring equipment and control panels.
  • Assembling wiring looms and installing electronic components.
  • Conducting inspections and tests.
  • Troubleshooting issues and updating design documentation.
