Job summary

A leading safety service provider is seeking an experienced Controller of Site Safety (COSS) to join their team in Southampton. This ongoing role involves ensuring the safety of all staff on railway worksites, implementing safety systems, and maintaining documentation. Candidates must possess valid COSS competency and have a good knowledge of railway safety standards. This position offers long-term work opportunities across the South Coast.

Qualifications

• Valid COSS competency (Sentinel card) required.
• PTS (Personal Track Safety) must be in date.
• Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential.

• Liaise with site managers, staff, and Network Rail representatives.
• Maintain accurate site safety records and documentation.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid COSS competency (Sentinel card).
• PTS (Personal Track Safety) – with full medical & D&A in date.
• Good knowledge of railway safety standards and procedures.
• Ability to manage and communicate effectively with teams.
• Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential.

Location: Southampton (with potential travel across the South Coast)

Duration: Ongoing – long-term work available.
