Role Summary
The Contracts Engineer will support contract management and compliance within the Excellence & Compliance Department. The role ensures that contract drafting, administration, and monitoring processes align with internal policies, operational excellence standards, and corporate governance requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, or related field) or Business (Contracts / Procurement).
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years’ experience in contract management / administration within the oil and gas industry.
- Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of procurement and contract law. Experience in contractor KPI tracking (HSE, quality, operational excellence).
- Standards & Systems: Strong understanding of the Operational Excellence (OE) framework. Proficiency in SAP or equivalent contract administration systems.
- Preferred Exposure: Experience in tendering, bid evaluation, contract award, and change management.

Core Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and administer contracts in compliance with internal and external standards.
- Manage the tendering process, including bid evaluation and contract award.
- Ensure alignment of contracting processes with operational and governance frameworks.
- Support contractor performance monitoring, KPI tracking, and compliance reporting.
- Collaborate with legal, procurement, and operational teams to resolve contract-related issues.
- Maintain accurate contract documentation within SAP and related systems.
