Job summary

A growing finance organization based in West Malling seeks a Financial Accountant for a contract role offering £250 - £275 per day. The successful candidate will take ownership of balance sheet reconciliations, ensure compliance across accounts, and support month-end and year-end reporting. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, and preferably experience with ERP systems. The position is office-based with a minimum contract of 6 months.

Qualifications

• Qualified in ACA/ACCA or equivalent experience in financial accounting.
• Strong analytical capability using Excel with formulas and pivot tables.
• Experience with ERP systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of balance sheet reconciliations.
• Manage stock reconciliation processes for data validation.
• Support month-end and year-end reporting cycles.
• Ensure compliance with statutory reporting requirements.
• Act as a key contact for audit teams.
• Provide financial analysis to senior management.
• Assist with additional financial projects and tasks.
