Job summary

A healthcare organization in the UK is seeking a Continuity of Carer Midwife. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing care throughout all maternity periods, supporting women and families, and ensuring communication within a multi-disciplinary team. This role requires being a registered Midwife with a diploma, a minimum of one year post-registration experience, and the ability to manage both high and low-risk situations. A full-time and flexible working pattern is available, with a salary ranging from £38,682 to £46,580.

Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess excellent clinical skills and good interpersonal skills.
  • Registered Midwife with a diploma or degree and at least one year of experience.
  • Must have a flexible approach to working hours and the ability to deal with conflicts.

Responsibilities

  • Provide continuity of care throughout the antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal periods.
  • Assess, plan, and implement care for both high and low-risk women.
  • Communicate effectively with women and their families about care choices.

Education

Registered Midwife currently on the NMC register with relevant Diploma/Degree
