A leading UK law firm is seeking a Newly Qualified Solicitor to join its high-performingConstruction & Engineering Disputes team. This is a rare opportunity to work on some of the most complex and high-value construction disputes in Scotland, with additional exposure to cases across England, Wales, and Northern Ireland.

The Role:
You’ll be part of a dynamic team advising a broad client base including developers, contractors, consultants, insurers, and funders. The work spans contentious claims and insurance disputes, involving mediation, adjudication, litigation, and arbitration. You’ll collaborate closely with senior lawyers and partners, gaining hands-on experience and contributing to strategic legal solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyse construction contracts and related documentation
  • Prepare evidence and legal analysis for dispute resolution
  • Draft pleadings and submissions
  • Represent clients in court and alternative dispute forums
  • Negotiate settlements and manage case finances
