About the Job

This is an exciting opportunity for a Junior to Mid Construction Disputes Associate to join an international law firm in the firm’s London office.

The Role

Our client is an international law firm with offices across the UK, Asia, Europe, and the Middle East. The firm is a full-service law firm with an established and strong reputation for its expertise in life sciences, education, retail, sports and entertainment, and international trade.

The firm’s Construction practice provides a broad range of construction law solutions, advising private and public institutions, property owners, developers, funders, contractors, sub-contractors, suppliers, and construction/design consultants.

The ideal candidate will have a good working knowledge of the most popular standard forms of construction contracts and disputes relating to payment issues, change, defects, termination, and professional negligence. There is an emphasis on working on adjudications in the UK as well as in the TCC.

The candidate must demonstrate experience in case management and the ability to work as a team player while building strong client relationships.

The Candidate
  • Construction Solicitor with 1 to 3 years’ PQE or equivalent from a reputable firm
  • Experience of construction disputes
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and organization skills
  • Commercially aware with enthusiasm for business development
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and on own initiative
  • Strong legal and leadership skills with an eye for detail
