Job summary

Container Transport Planner
Location: Liverpool
Salary: £28,000 - £34,000 (DOE)
Hours: 35-hour basic week
Benefits: 25 days annual leave + bank holidays

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Container Planner to join a well-established logistics operation based in Liverpool. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of day-to-day container planning and contribute to a busy and fast-paced team.

Key Responsibilities of a Container Transport Planner:

Planning container transport movements efficiently and in line with customer requirements

Coordinating with hauliers, ports, and internal departments to ensure timely delivery

Managing container bookings, collections, and deliveries using Fargo TOPS

Monitoring KPIs, handling any operational issues proactively

Ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal procedures

Good geoprahical knowledge

Key Requirements:

Essential: Experience using Fargo TOPS for container planning

Desirable: Familiarity with EDAL or a similar system

Previous experience in a container transport for a UK Based Haulier

A thorough understanding of driver hours and WTD
