Overview

Our client has an exciting opportunity for an individual to join an existing team of seven rheumatology consultants, two specialist registrars, four rheumatology nurse specialists, two research nurses and administration and secretarial staff in providing a comprehensive rheumatology service.

The hospital is known for its friendly atmosphere and good working relationships. It is situated in an area with easy access to central London and the rural Chilterns. The rural areas include many attractive villages and towns within easy reach of the Hospital. Excellent schools are found nearby and there is also very good access to the Midlands and London by road using the M1 or A1, or by rail.

Responsibilities
  • Join an existing team of seven rheumatology consultants, two specialist registrars, four rheumatology nurse specialists, two research nurses and administration and secretarial staff in providing a comprehensive rheumatology service.
Qualifications
  • Full GMC registration & on the Specialist Register
  • MRCP
  • Evidence of thorough and broad training and experience in Rheumatology
  • Able to offer expert clinical opinion on all aspects within general medicine and Rheumatology
  • Able to demonstrate a broad understanding of the principles and elements of clinical governance
  • Ability to manage and lead department
