Job description

Consultant Radiologist with Special Interest in Gynecological Radiology

NHS University Hospital is seeking a Consultant Radiologist with a special interest in Gynecological Radiology. Triple West Medical has been appointed to assist in sourcing and recommending suitable candidates for a substantive position.

The Radiology department comprises 28 consultant radiologists (adult and paediatric) providing tertiary radiology services. The department also has 15 Radiology Specialist Trainees (STs) involved in the School of Radiology, staffing an on-call rota approximately 1:11, compliant with EWTD. There is a separate consultant rota for Paediatric Radiology, supported by STs. Junior staff report to the Clinical Director and are supervised by Clinical/Educational Supervisors and the Deanery for training.

The department uses Insignia PACS and HSS 'CRIS' radiology information systems, with voice recognition for reporting, which the new appointee will be expected to use.
