We are looking to recruit a Consultant Radiologist with interest in Head and Neck Radiology. Responsibilities
- Proficient in all aspects of diagnostic and interventional head and neck radiology, including reporting of plain film, US, CT and MRI.
- Other subspecialty reporting skills and interventional procedures (e.g., FNA and core biopsy) would be an advantage.
- Support for general radiology across elective, on‑call and acute work.
- Support the general diagnostic on‑call rota.
- Carry out any other duties necessary for the successful performance of the role, commensurate with the grade.

Person Specification
Qualifications
- Essential: On GMC's Specialist Register or be no more than six months from receiving CCT at interview date.
- Essential: FRCR or equivalent higher qualification from a different College or from overseas.
- Desirable: Fellowship.
- Desirable: Advanced or further degrees.
- Desirable: Medical or post‑graduate prizes.
Experience
- Essential: Experience in general radiology and subspecialty training head and neck imaging post FRCR 2B.
- Essential: Experience in head and neck intervention e.g. FNA and core biopsy.
- Essential: Confident with Information Technology.
- Desirable: Knowledge of a wide range of educational methods.
- Desirable: Managerial skills.
Training
- Essential: In General Radiology (CT, MR, US, Plain Films, Fluoroscopy) with appropriate sub‑specialist training.
- Desirable: Teaching experience.
- Desirable: Teaching qualification/prize.

- Essential: Communication skills (clarity, listen, persuade, negotiate).
