A healthcare organization in Yeovil is seeking a full-time Consultant to provide senior psychiatric input within the community mental health team. We are seeking a full time, permanent Consultant to work as part of a team of three community consultants covering the South Somerset area (Yeovil East, Yeovil West and Chard). There is an established associate specialist who will work alongside the consultant.
This post provides senior psychiatric input to the Yeovil West part of the community mental health team, which is aligned to 5 of the 20 GP surgeries in the Yeovil area. The consultants work to a functional model following a community/inpatient split. The GP population catchment area for Yeovil West CMHT is 45,162 which is within Royal College recommendations.
The working pattern is 9-5, Monday to Friday with a 1:11 on call requirement.

Salary: £109,725 to £145,478 a year. Out of hours rota attracts 1.125 PA and 3% availability payment.
