About the role

We're looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Community Mental Health Recovery Service (CMHRS) in Runnymede and Spelthorne, supporting adults aged 18‑65 with a wide range of mental health needs. You'll be based at Unither House in Chertsey and work alongside a friendly, experienced team of psychologists, nurses, social workers, occupational therapists, and support staff.

The service offers time‑limited and ongoing support to people who need secondary care, focusing on recovery, collaboration, and person‑centred care.

Key responsibilities
  • Provide psychiatric assessments, formulate diagnoses and treatment plans in consultation with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Deliver and lead clinical care, including emergency & routine work and decisions regarding new referrals arriving daily.
  • Contribute to service development, teaching and quality improvement within the CMHRS.
  • Provide clinical leadership within the multidisciplinary team and support service development.
