A leading healthcare provider is seeking a part-time Consultant Psychiatrist for their mental health team at HMP Wealstun. This role includes providing clinical care to patients, leading service developments, and working with a multi-disciplinary team. Ideal candidates will be GMC registered and specialists in Adult or Forensic Psychiatry. The position offers flexible working with competitive salary up to £189,900 per annum.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Consultant Psychiatrist to join our integrated mental health team at HMP Wealstun. HMP Wealstun is a category C prison located in Thorpe Arch, that houses around 800 patients aged 21+. You will join an established mental health team providing a nurse-led service with a medical model diagnosis for complex health needs. Typical caseload is 4-5 patients per day.
Hours
2.5 days per week across Tuesday, Wednesday and one additional half day. The half day can be used to complete admin work on site.
Salary
Annual salary up to £189,900 per annum FTE, depending on experience.
Candidates are required to have a legal right to work in the UK and, due to the nature of the role, offers of employment are subject to additional vetting and security checks.
