A leading independent health provider is seeking a Consultant Psychiatrist to join their mental health team at HMP Stocken. This role involves providing clinical care, participating in service direction, and engaging with a multidisciplinary team. Candidates should hold current GMC registration and specialist qualifications in Psychiatry. The position offers flexible hours, an annual salary up to £186,480, and various professional development opportunities.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Consultant Psychiatrist to join our mental health team at HMP Stocken. HMP Stocken is a Category C training prison housing around 1,056 patients, the majority of whom are aged between 21‑40 years. You will be working close with the multidisciplinary team to deliver support to adult males with complex mental health and trauma needs.
20 hours per week, across 2.5 days. We can create a rolling rota for this role, working 2 days one week and 3 days the next, and are flexible on which days are worked (Monday to Friday).
This position is 20 hours per week; you will receive an annual salary up to £186,480 per annum FTE, depending on experience.
