Job description

We are currently in the process of redeveloping the hospital to provide a new state-of-the‑art facility for the residents of Hillingdon and beyond, supporting the very best in delivery of healthcare and preparing for the future. We are seeking a Consultant in Respiratory Medicine with a sub‑specialty interest in non‑invasive ventilation (NIV) to lead high‑quality management of patients with respiratory failure at the Trust. The post is substantive.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as Trust NIV Lead and be instrumental in further developing a high‑quality clinical service whilst supporting the delivery of national recommendations.
  • Contribute to the development of a new pleural service for the Trust.
  • Collaborate with other Consultant Respiratory Colleagues to provide care for respiratory inpatients.
  • Work as a senior clinician with subspecialist training in Respiratory, maintaining excellent clinical service delivery, service improvement, teaching, training and other qualities identified in the person specification.
