We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Consultant Dermatologist on the GMC Specialist Register to join our expanding dermatology service in Manchester. The successful applicant will lead and deliver high-quality outpatient dermatology care across a network of modern, well-supported clinic sites. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment, contribute to service development, and support the growth of dermatology services in the region.
Main duties of the job
- Provide specialist-level assessment, diagnosis, and management of the full spectrum of dermatological conditions in outpatient and community settings.
- Lead clinical decision-making and support the effective triage and prioritisation of dermatology referrals.
- Provide clinical supervision and mentorship to SAS doctors, GPs with specialist interest, junior doctors, nurses, and AHPs.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team discussions

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise clinicians and contribute to service development.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, evidence-based, patient-focused care.
- Experience working in community dermatology services.
- Expertise in skin cancer management, dermoscopy, phototherapy, or specialist dermatology clinics.
