A leading NHS Trust in the UK is seeking a Consultant Diagnostic Cross Sectional Radiologist to support a world-class Chest and Cardiac imaging service. The role involves interpreting studies, training junior staff, and participating in an on-call rota. The ideal candidate will have specialist skills in Chest and Cardiac Imaging and strong general radiology abilities. This is a full‑time, substantive post (10 Programmed Activities) for a Consultant Diagnostic Cross Sectional Radiologist at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust.
The successful candidate will join a dynamic team to support and deliver a world‑class Chest and Cardiac imaging service, as well as contribute to the department's general workload.
Team & Training: The post holder will join a team of 7 sub‑speciality chest and cardiac radiologists. A key part of the role is supporting the registrar training programme and supervising junior trainees.
Location & On‑call: This is a cross‑site post, covering Royal Free Hampstead, Barnet, Chase Farm and North Middlesex University Hospitals. The successful candidate will participate in a general on‑call rota at the Royal Free site, currently at a 1:18 frequency.
