Overview

Construction Skills Tutor – we are urgently looking to recruit a construction professional to tutor basic construction skills at a college of further education.

Responsibilities

• Teach basic construction skills to young adults, for example painting, dry lining, mastic application and some aspects of health & safety.

Qualifications and Requirements

• You do not need to be a qualified tutor, but you must have a long working history within the construction sector, at site manager or supervisory level.
• This position would suit someone who is looking to get off the tools, or semi-retired.
• You will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS which MUST come back clear.

Working Arrangements

• Hours: Monday to Wednesday – 7.5 hours per day (22.5 per week).
• Contract length: until 31st March 2026.
