A leading infrastructure services provider in Barnsley is seeking a Construction Site Supervisor Apprentice. This role offers practical experience in supervising highway maintenance and construction projects. Candidates will assist with on-site delivery, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Applicants should have GCSEs in key subjects, a level 3 construction apprenticeship, or relevant experience. As a highways Construction Site Supervisor Apprentice, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of highway maintenance and construction works within Area 12. This apprenticeship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands‑on experience and develop the skills necessary to supervise and manage highway construction and maintenance projects.
Working with our operations and scheme delivery teams, you'll support on‑site delivery in the construction phase of our projects. You will also learn how we manage the performance on‑site of our internal maintenance and response teams and specialist supply chain contractors.
As part of your apprenticeship, you will be enrolled onto a Construction Site Supervisor level 4 apprenticeship which will take approximately 39 months to complete. You will be fully supported by our partnered training provider to achieve this qualification, having 1-2-1 advice and support, e-learning materials, and a whole team of experts on hand for advice and technical knowledge at your office.
