A renewable energy company in the UK is seeking a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to work on anaerobic digestion projects. The successful candidate will learn to create mechanical designs using CAD and will engage with project management and installation phases. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in mechanical design and project coordination. Key responsibilities include liaising with customers and ensuring design requirements are met while maintaining high-quality standards.

As a Graduate Mechanical Engineer at Marches Biogas you will be participating in the renewable energy and waste management sectors, helping define, engineer and deliver engineering solutions across a variety of projects and customer types. You will learn how to act as Mechanical Designer and Project Engineer for various projects, ensuring workable mechanical designs are produced in 3D and 2D CAD for a range of anaerobic digestion related projects. The role will involve close coordination with both the process engineer and site installation teams to ensure a fully integrated design is produced. You will then be taught how to become involved during the site installation to ensure that good engineering practice is adhered to, on-going technical queries are dealt with in a timely fashion and both good and bad experiences are fed back into future designs to ensure that we learnt from our experiences. As a Graduate Mechanical Engineer at Marches Biogas, you will interact with new projects as well as modifications on to existing systems. This is a great opportunity to learn about other systems and design philosophies, including their strengths and weaknesses.
