Responsibilities
- Monitor programmes, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and the client team to ensure project requirements are met
- Navigate London-specific planning requirements
- Manage complex urban site logistics
- Commercial Management: work closely with the project quantity surveyor; stay aware of commercial constraints while maintaining quality and safety; understand London market dynamics; manage local supply chain relationships
- Team Leadership and Management: lead and motivate the team including supply chain; chair meetings with concise minutes; provide clear direction; foster a collaborative, productive, and safety-focused environment; champion best use of technology; coordinate with London-based stakeholders
- Quality Control and Compliance: coordinate design management with architects and engineers; implement quality control measures; conduct inspections and audits; work with HSE Manager to ensure compliance and Zero Harm; maintain London regulatory compliance
- Risk Management: identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, address issues, maintain comprehensive documentation of project activities and decisions; focus on urban construction challenges
- Reporting: aid with upstream reports; ensure internal team are aware of site progress, issues, and requirements
