Construction Manager

Residential & Mixed-Use Developments | Permanent

Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 per annum + car allowance + benefits (depending on experience)

We are working in partnership with a well-established and ambitious construction and development management business to recruit an experienced Construction Manager.

Our client is a privately owned company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality residential and mixed-use developments. Operating as both developer and construction manager, they are known for well-organised sites, strong leadership, and a hands-on approach to project delivery. With a growing pipeline of work and long-term plans for expansion, they offer stability, autonomy, and genuine career progression.

The Role

• Overall management of site teams, including Site Managers and Assistant Site Managers
• Overseeing programme, quality, and health & safety across projects
• Coordinating subcontractors and ensuring smooth site operations
• Working closely with commercial, design, and client teams
• Driving build quality, compliance, and best practice on site
• Supporting project planning, sequencing, and problem‑solving
• Playing a key role in mentoring and developing site management staff

About You

• Proven experience in a Construction Manager or Senior Site Manager role
• Strong background in residential or mixed‑use developments
• Excellent knowledge of construction processes and site management
• SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid qualifications essential
• Confident leader with strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and priorities
