A leading energy infrastructure company is looking for a Consents Coordinator based in Warwick to support their Consents team. You will play a pivotal role in managing communications and data, ensuring accurate documentation and coordination among different projects. Ideal candidates are self-starters with excellent organisational skills, communication abilities, and a strong command of data management. The Great Grid Upgrade is the largest overhaul of the electricity grid in generations. These major infrastructure projects require us to identify opportunities to better plan how we will deliver our planning consents. That's why we're looking for a Consents Coordinator to support the Consents team. You'll join a team of experienced consenting and environmental professionals, who play a crucial role supporting the delivery of planning consents across our portfolio of projects.
This is an opportunity for you to apply your administrative experience and gain excellent exposure to projects that support the UK’s net zero and power decarbonisation targets.
This role is based from Warwick and you can enjoy our hybrid working from office and home.
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication is crucial. We communicate with a varied group of stakeholders, including local communities, government, Ofgem and colleagues from all over National Grid. You’ll quickly learn how to tailor messaging and ‘translate’ between different stakeholders, so that each piece is received by its audience in a positive, meaningful way. You’ll use your eye for detail to ensure all communications are accurate and comprehensive.
Data: You'll ensure you have both a current and forward view of things such as current workload versus forthcoming workload. You'll update information like this and ensure it is accessible and visible for all relevant parties. You will maintain a central place for our documents and records and be responsible for the storage of information such as lessons learnt. You'll act as a coordinator of information across the consents team in the business, including supporting the coordination of information across Projects in particular where interactions occur. You will support the management of performance data and monthly reporting.
Organisation: When team members lack the capacity to undertake certain tasks you will step in, supporting in areas such as group bookings for travel, accommodation, meeting arrangements and meeting rooms. You might be managing a shared inbox, looking after things like invoices, quotes and raising purchase orders on behalf of the team.
A competitive salary between £36,000 - £40,000 - dependent on capability.
As well as your base salary, you will receive a bonus based on personal and company performance and a competitive contributory pension scheme where we will double match your contribution to a maximum company contribution of 12%.
