Overview

You will join Apex as a Conference & Events Assistant. We value Trust, Passion, Friendliness and Teamwork and encourage you to bring your own personality to the role while working as part of the housekeeping team. This is a vital role in the function of the hotel, supporting the Conference and Events Supervisor in the day-to-day operation of the conference & events, with a focus on delivering high standards of service to our guests.

Responsibilities
  • Set up meeting rooms and events areas to ensure guests receive an excellent experience.
  • Provide excellent customer service during each event.
  • Serve food and beverages to guests and deliver the highest standards in service and presentation.
  • Prepare tea/coffee breaks and stations with appropriate food and beverages at the times stated in the Event function sheet.
  • Answer guest requests and fulfil any special requirements during events.
  • Keep working areas clean and tidy.

You will be an excellent organiser with a passion for providing excellent customer care and the ability to handle all guest requests with a positive attitude. You should enjoy multi-tasking and be efficient at resolving guest enquiries with a smile.
