Computer Science Teacher

Location: Lewisham

Salary: £185 – £265 per day

Start Date: ASAP

GSL Education London Branch are looking for an experienced Computer Science Teacher to work at a welcoming and supportive girls’ secondary school in Lewisham. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Computer Science Teacher who is keen to inspire young learners and make a real impact. The successful Computer Science Teacher will join a committed team and deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 торм5.

As a Computer Science Teacher, you will play a key role in developing students’ digital skills, confidence, and understanding of computing concepts. Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons to KS3 – KS5 pupils.
• Teach topics such as programming, algorithms, data representation, and e‑safety.
• Assess, track, and report on student progress in line with school Comércio policies.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment for all learners.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively and consistently.
• Work collaboratively with other staff and attend meetings when required.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS നിയ ഒരു teaching qualification).
• Experience working as a Computer Science Teacher in a UK secondary school.
• Ideally, will have KS5 (A-Level) experience in Computer Science.
• Ability to motivate and engage female students in computing and digital learning.
• Good classroom management, communication, and organisational skills.
• A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing.
