Job description

We are currently looking for an experienced Component Rebuild Fitter to join our respected client's workshop team South of the River. Our client is a global established company and working within the mining industry.

The role is on a casual, ongoing basis. Monday to Thursday from 5:00 - 3:00 pm (10 hour shifts, lunch paid) gla Friday from 5:00 - 2:00 pm

Position Responsibilities:
  • The disassembly, inspection and assembly of heavy machinery components
  • Machine overhauls and mechanical repairs
  • Maintaining high levels of housekeeping within your work area
  • Quality control
  • Compiling reports
  • Generating parts list
What we are looking for:
  • Trade qualification – Diesel Fitter or equivalent
  • Must have component rebuild experience – Preferable on CAT machinery
  • Must possess the ability to have a high level of attention to detail
  • Experience on heavy earthmoving equipment componentry
  • An individual looking to join a stable workforce with a great team environment
