We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mobile Compliance Technician to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial to ensuring the safety and compliance of our operations across various project sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective implementation, harmonisation and monitoring of CBRE QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) work authorization processes, ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage the work authorization process for all relevant activities, including but not limited to: permits to work, risk assessments, method statements, and pre-start checklists.
  • Review and approve work permits and associated documentation, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and compliance with QHSE standards.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to project teams on the work authorization process, including training and coaching.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections of work activities to ensure compliance with CBRE and United Utilities permits and procedures.
  • Identify and escalate any non-compliance or safety concerns to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Investigate incidents, near misses, and potential hazards, determining root causes and contributing factors.
  • Prepare detailed incident reports, including findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
  • Track and monitor the implementation of corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Attend QHSE training sessions, maintaining a high level of understanding and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain client and contractor relationships
  • Collaborate effectively with project managers, supervisors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of QHSE requirements.
  • Communicate QHSE information and updates clearly and concisely.
  • Participate in QHSE meetings and contribute to the development of QHSE strategies and initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant QHSE regulations, legislation, and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to QHSE activities.
  • Willingness and ability to travel frequently to various project sites as required.
  • Adaptability to changing work environments and project demands.
Experience
  • Strong knowledge of QHSE principles, regulations, and best practices.
  • Proven experience in work authorization processes, risk assessment, and hazard identification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driving license.
