About This Role

We're looking for a Compliance Officer to join our central recruitment team in Codsall, Wolverhampton.

If you're organised, enjoy speaking with people, and want to play a key part in keeping our workforce safe and ready to work, this could be a great fit.

In this role, you'll be part of a supportive team and keep the onboarding process running smoothly, ensuring all Healthcare Assistants, Support Workers, and Registered Nurses are fully compliant to start work.

You'll work closely with candidates, colleagues, and external partners to ensure staff have a smooth and positive start with us.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Managing the full onboarding process for new staff
  • Carrying out regular audits of candidate files
  • Handling right‑to‑work checks, references, DBS applications, and training verification
  • Supporting the compliance team to meet monthly KPIs, including signed‑off candidates and average days to sign off
  • Keeping current staff up to date with DBS checks and training
  • Working with operational colleagues to obtain any missing documents
  • Ensuring all records are accurate, up to date, and 100% compliant at all times
What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is organised, with excellent attention to detail, and enjoys keeping tasks on track. Experience in recruitment or compliance is essential, and healthcare experience is preferred but not required.

You should be confident managing multiple priorities, working to deadlines, and communicating with a variety of people. Most importantly, you should be proactive, solutions-focused, and genuinely committed to getting things right.
