Overview

This Top 30 UK head-quartered law firm is looking for a lawyer with upwards of 5 PQE in Professional Indemnity and Policy Coverage to join the firm’s in-house legal team.

Responsibilities

• Handle claims, complaints, and insurance across the firm.
• Investigate and respond to complaints, manage claims, liaise with the Legal Ombudsman, oversee insurance notifications and renewals, and assist with internal and regulatory investigations.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer likely to have 5–10 years’ PQE, ideally in litigation.
• Experience in professional negligence, claims against solicitors and knowledge of insurance coverage is required.
• Resilient, proactive, and able to build strong relationships across the business.
• Previous experience in a large City or international law firm is desirable.
