  We have an excellent opportunity for a female support worker to work alongside our client in Norwich, Norfolk.
  
  Our client is a young lady in her 20's, she enjoys going for walks, listening to music and stories, having her nails done and engaging in crafts. She is non-verbal, has symptoms of cerebral palsy and epilepsy including seizures.
  
  Due to the clients support needs the successful candidate will need to be female, have complex care experience, ideally an understanding of seizure management, peg feeding, administering medication, personal care, pressure area care and manual handling along with a full UK driving licence. Combining this with the softer skills of being a clear communicator with the motivation and ability to engage the client and build a solid, supporting relationship.
  
  Pay: £13.40 per hour
  
  Hours: 16 per week over three days (16:15 - 21:30)
  
  Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting, and engaging with personalised routines inclusive of hoists.
  • Completing daily living activities, including personal hygiene and mobility.
  • Administering medication and monitoring health conditions.
  • Providing emotional support and companionship.
  • Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in clients' conditions.
  • Collaborating with a range of healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
  Requirements:
  • A genuine passion for working with people and providing care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
  • Reliability, commitment, and flexibility.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in complex care.
  • To be able to deal with challenging behaviours.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
