A charitable organization in North West London is seeking a Community Support Worker to support individuals with learning disabilities. The role focuses on promoting participation in activities and providing personal care. Ideal candidates will possess an NVQ in Health & Social Care and a respect for Jewish culture. Full-time and part-time roles are available, along with comprehensive benefits including a pension and training opportunities.
As a Community Support Worker, you will be required to work individually and as part of a team to support and enable people to participate in a range of activities, ensuring their needs are met and facilitating a friendly, safe and sociable environment.
With NVQ/QCF in Health & Social Care level 2, Care Certificate or equivalent experience, you must have a good standard of written English. Experience of working with adults with a learning disability is desirable but not essential. Understanding / awareness of or willingness to learn about Jewish culture is essential.
