Role Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a registered nurse to join our friendly and forward thinking community care team in SMASH. This post requires effective communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to be adaptable, reliable and approachable. The successful applicant will have a sound knowledge of recent changes within the NHS and knowledge of the political drivers to provide care closer to home.

Responsibilities
  • Assessment of nursing care needs, implementation and evaluation of care programmes and delivery of high quality holistic care within the community setting and within wound care clinics.
  • Support peers, team leader and organisation in promoting the Trust values and behaviours.
  • Work independently, possess good time management and organisational skills, innovative and flexible to work in other areas if required to meet service need.
  • Hours of work between 08:00 and 17:00, over 7 days.
  • Main base at Alsager, work across the footprint of CCICP and travel essential.
Qualifications
  • Band 5 staff nurse experienced in delivering high quality, efficient and safe care.
  • Enthusiastic person possessing both clinical and digital skills to support promotion of quality improvement for a local population.
  • Good knowledge of NHS changes and political drivers to provide care closer to home.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and adaptability skills.
