Position: Registered Nurse – Community/​Home Nursing

Remuneration: $74 317.94 – $104 336.27 per annum +12% Super + salary packaging

Employment Type: Permanent Full‑time (38 hours per week)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Community Nurse who thrives in autonomous practice while contributing meaningfully to a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. This role requires confidence in independent day‑to‑day decision‑making and the ability to engage with a broader clinical team to deliver holistic, client‑centred care.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high‑quality community nursing services across clinic and home‑based settings.
  • Provide advanced wound care, urinary catheter insertion and management, and care of peripheral lines and continuous antibiotic infusions.
  • Assess, refer, escalates, and coordinates care in partnership with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Access strong clinical governance, line‑manager support, and specialist expertise through Community Nursing NCE, Clinical Nurse Specialists, Wound Care Specialists, and Clinical Nurse Consultants.
  • Maintain professional autonomy while contributing to the integrated care network.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Registered Nurse, authorised by AHPRA.
  • Community or home‑based nursing experience.
  • Strong communication skills and person‑centred care focus.
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Commitment to at least 18 months in the role (or agreed contract duration).
  • Eligible for full‑time employment (subject to Australian citizenship or permanent residency, or New Zealand citizenship with current NZ passport; temporary visa holders may only be considered if no suitable local candidate exists).
  • Will work within a child‑safe environment and comply with NSW Health’s Child Safe Standards.

  • Up to $20 000 in the first 12 months plus up to $10 000 each year thereafter under the Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme.
