A public health organization in the United Kingdom is seeking a dedicated Community Public Health Nurse for their School Nursing service. The role involves delivering the Healthy Child Programme and supporting children's health in schools and communities. Ideal candidates will hold a nursing degree, have NMC registration, and be committed to professional development. Are you passionate about supporting the health and wellbeing of children and families? Join our School Nursing service, where you will play a vital role in delivering the Healthy Child Programme and contributing to positive public health outcomes for children and young people.
You will lead the delivery of integrated, evidence-informed services, focusing on prevention, promotion, and early intervention. Working primarily within schools, but also within family homes, children’s centres, health clinics, and other community settings, you will use advanced assessment skills to work closely with children, young people, and their families. Your work will aim to improve long‑term health outcomes and provide appropriate support where needed.
The role is central to Sirona’s Public Health Nursing Service vision, engaging with transformation programmes and building strong partnerships with families, schools, and other professionals to deliver the Healthy Child Programme (2023).

This role requires the post holder to be mobile, visiting several locations across a wide geographical area so the post holder must hold a valid UK driving licence and have access to an appropriate means of transport to undertake the job effectively. There is an expectation you will travel across South Gloucestershire daily.
