A leading healthcare provider in Gateshead is looking for experienced individuals to join their psychiatric liaison team. This full-time, permanent role involves conducting mental health assessments and providing psychological interventions within the acute hospital setting. Welcome to the Gateshead Psychiatric Liaison Team within central access we have exciting opportunity to work within the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. This post offers an exciting and challenging opportunity to work in this service at a time when Psychiatric Liaison is high on the national agenda embedding all age services within our acute trusts. This is a full time, permanent position.
The service will provide all psychiatric input to the Acute Hospital for those presenting with a mental health problem. The service requires working across a 24/7 hour shift system. A full training and support package will be offered based around the RCP Psychiatric Liaison Accreditation Standards and the Liaison Competency Framework. This is a fantastic opportunity to join this established service.
