A health services provider in Oxford is looking for a dedicated Podiatrist to join their team. This role offers an opportunity to work with patients, providing top-notch care and treatment for foot health. The ideal candidate will have a BSc in Podiatry and HCPC registration. Responsibilities include managing a community caseload and delivering evidence-based treatments. The position provides flexible shifts and access to development opportunities.

Pay Rates: £23.82 per hour
Shift Patterns: 37.5 hours.Err Mon-Fri 08:30-17:30

Work in partnership with patients and other service users and communicate effectively to meet the needs of the recipient in maximisingowaniu understanding of information about their (foot) health. To empathetically convey potentially distressing information.
Evidence‑based treatment of at‑risk patients including wound patients, nail surgery and offloading.
Manage a specialist community caseload, demonstrating skills in current assessment techniques (including use of monofilaments, ABPI, Doppler etc), treating at‑risk patients (including wound care), carrying out nail surgery and using evidence‑based MSK skills to offload the at‑risk foot.
Identify the local need for podiatry services, evaluate priorities and deliver care accordingly, managing capacity and demand within contractual agreements.
Work closely and effectively with other health care professionals in securing high standards of care for all patients, including: referral onward, antibiotic cover, specialist footwear prescriptions, recommending further tests and investigations.
