A progressive health organization in the West Midlands is seeking a District Nursing Team Manager to co-lead a team in Newport. In order to deliver the strategy, an opportunity has become available for a District Nursing Team Manager to co‑lead a District Nursing Team in North West Team, Newport.
We are looking to appoint someone who is passionate about providing high quality care and we are committed to developing and investing in our staff to improve patient outcomes.
This is an opportunity for strong, motivated leaders who are innovative and enthusiastic, who desire high standards and are able to ensure expert clinical nursing practice is delivered.
The post holder will ensure the provision of cost‑effective, efficient and appropriate high‑quality patient care. They will carry the continuing responsibility for the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of care needs and quality assurance.
The community nurse team leader will line‑manage a nursing team ensuring the professional and clinical development of team members. They will promote evidence‑based practice and act as an accountable role model.
They will ensure that together with their team members they act in accordance with the NMC Professional Code of Conduct and other relevant policies.
Knowledgeable practitioners who are passionate to impart knowledge and lead the way in delivering care in the new NHS landscape.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
