Overview

Are you a dedicated Community Nurse in West London looking to make a difference in community healthcare? Our client, a fast-growing healthcare company, is seeking passionate nurses to provide top-quality care in patients' homes. This role offers an attractive salary of £43,840 including care allowance, paid mileage and other benefits.

You will be working 5 days a week, starting at either 7am or 1pm, with no night shifts and weekends on rotation. Enjoy 31 days of annual leave, including bank holidays, plus an additional day off for your birthday, private pension, car scheme and extra bonuses.

Our client is a dynamic healthcare company delivering exceptional services in both home and clinical settings. You will be caring for renal and dialysis patients in their own homes in the Ipswich area.

Responsibilities

• Assisting Patients with Peritoneal Dialysis (PD).
• Provide safe nursing care, including Peritoneal Dialysis, IV medication administration, and more.
• Setting up patients' automated PD machines.
• Visiting patients to connect and disconnect them from their PD.
• Monitoring observations such as blood pressure and weight to ensure the patient receives the correct regime.
• Providing peritoneal catheter site care and dressing changes.
• Maintaining a tidy and safe environment, stock replenishment, and waste removal.
• Contacting referring PD units when intervention or advice is required.
• Supporting both Adult & Paediatric patients in their own homes.

Ideal Candidate

• Current NMC qualifications as a Registered General Nurse or Children’s Nurse.
• At least 2 years of post-qualification experience.
• A valid driving license and flexibility to travel.
• Community experience is desirable.
• Full right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
