We are looking for two enthusiastic Community Mental Health Nurses with Older Adult Mental Health experience to join our Caithness Community Mental Health team based at Town & County Hospital, Wick.

Your role will be with adults over the age of 65 or of any age if a memory concern.

It will involve assessment; care planning, implementation and evaluation of the care plan, in partnership with the client, family and carers. You will also be involved in assessment and management of ongoing risk.

The role will involve medication monitoring, liaising with Psychiatrists, Primary Care and with other Social Care services, referring on to other services as appropriate. You will be an active member of an MDT and you will be supervising students and Support Workers on occasion.

The applicant would be required to travel efficiently and effectively to undertake the role.

A full driving licence is essential and a pool car may be available, however, applicants should have access to their own vehicle for work purposes, if required.

Applicants must be registered with the NMC and work within the code of conduct at all times.

There are 2 permanent posts available totalling 51.4 hours, hours negotiable.
