Job summary

A community support organization is seeking a Community Link Worker to provide outreach and support services to vulnerable young people aged 12 to 25 at Newham University Hospital and in the wider community. The role involves delivering comprehensive assessments and support to prevent re-victimization of young victims of violence. The ideal candidate will be passionate about making a difference and possess strong interpersonal skills. This position offers 35 hours per week at a rate of £14.75 per hour PAYE.

Qualifications

  • Experience in providing assessment and support to young victims of violence.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly in different community settings.

Responsibilities

Hours : 35 hours per week (9am-5pm, some flexibility needed due to the needs of those being supported)
