Qualifications

  • RCN registered with a relevant nursing qualification.
  • Experience of working in primary or community care or with children and young people.
  • Demonstrable experience of working with computerised data systems.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver the School Age Immunisation Programme.
  • Plan and deliver immunisation sessions in schools and community venues.
  • Promote uptake through evidence-based information to parents.

Skills

Ability to stay calm and work effectively under pressure
IT skills, particularly Windows applications
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent time management, organisational and planning skills

Education

RN Adult (NMC registered) or RN Children (NMC registered)
5 GCSE's grade 4/C or above, or equivalent
Mentorship/supervision training
