Overview

Community Health Care Assistants for our Hospice at Home Team

Vacancies in: Basildon, Wickford and Thurrock: Full or Part time

Starting in January 2026

Commitment to work every other weekend.

About the Role

We are a local, recognised, successful and highly respected domiciliary care provider with over 45 years of experience. You will be caring, dedicated, reliable and responsible, and you’ll want a job that offers flexibility, with a supportive team, where you can make a difference by enabling people to remain at home with the support you provide.

You do not need to be experienced or qualified, as we will provide all the necessary training. We will also provide paid-for training and support to complete your Care Certificate. You will need to be a driver with access to a car to travel between visits.

The Role
  • In this role you will be delivering end of life care to people in their own homes within the community.
  • This may involve personal care such as washing and dressing.
  • Providing simple meals, assisting with medication and promoting good health and wellbeing.
  • This role also comes with full training, where you will complete the Care Certificate as part of your induction training, unless you already have a qualification in Health and Social Care. We also offer regular updates and opportunities to develop your skills.
