A leading conservation charity in the UK is seeking a Community Development Officer to promote biodiversity and local heritage at Mourne Park. The role involves developing community engagement and volunteer programmes, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and collaborating with various stakeholders. Ideal candidates will have project management experience, expertise in environmental education, and a relevant degree. This position offers a permanent, full-time contract with a competitive salary and additional benefits including flexible working options.

The successful candidate will undertake the successful delivery of the National Lottery Heritage Fund project, the Community Development Officer will work closely with the Project Manager, Conservation Officer and the Woodland Trust Northern Ireland Team in order to achieve this. The Community Development Officer will report to the Project Manager.
