About The Role

Home Care & Support Assistant Team

Location: Bournemouth

Pay rate: £13.15 per hour + £2.00 per hour Bank Holiday enhancement rate

Travel: Paid Travel Time £12.21 per hour + 40p per mile mileage allowance

Hours: 25 hrs per week - with every other weekend off.

Shift: 7.00 to 14.00 & 18.00 to 22.00

Care South at Home, have an exciting opportunity for Home Care & Support Assistants to join the Care South at Home Bournemouth Team.

The home care team provide services & support including companionship, household tasks, personal care, grocery shopping, picking up prescriptions & meal preparation.

You will be required to hold a full UK driving licence & access to transport, as you will be visiting clients in their own homes.

Previous care experience is not essential for our "Care at Home Support Assistant Team".

You may be in a customer care role or have helped in your community.

A full induction and training programme will be provided to support you.

What you will do

This community-based Home Care & Support Assistant role will be supporting clients with a variety of needs within their own homes, this can include:

  • Identifying the needs and abilities of our clients and providing personal care and encouragement to them
  • Assisting with medication, meal preparation and domestic services
  • Supporting with personal care & washing & dressing
  • Supporting with community visits (shopping and leisure trips)
  • Regular communications with the office support team
  • Reflect our HEART values in your day-to-day work
